Corkor was founded in Portugal by Natália and Vitor, a couple inspired by the natural beauty of the cork oak forests that surround their home. Growing up connected to Portugal’s landscapes and traditions, they recognised cork as one of the country’s most remarkable natural resources—renewable, durable, and deeply rooted in Portuguese heritage. Their shared passion for sustainability and design led them to create Corkor, with the vision of transforming this traditional material into modern, functional accessories.
From the beginning, Corkor focused on small-batch production, prioritising quality, ethical practices, and environmental responsibility over mass manufacturing. By combining contemporary design with traditional Portuguese cork craftsmanship, Natália and Vitor built a brand that reflects both innovation and heritage. Today, Corkor represents a new generation of Portuguese makers, honouring the legacy of cork while offering sustainable alternatives for modern living.
