Inspired by the vision of Darono's founder, Catarina Carvalho, who saw the potential in pre-consumer waste from European textile factories, each DUNE PILLOW is a testament to innovative upcycling and thoughtful design. “We visited a lot of textile factories around Europe and realized that there was an enormous volume of resources that were being sent to landfills, by-products of production,” says Carvalho. “So we started rescuing this pre-consumer waste and testing the potential of each one of these materials."
